Day to day

Rain canopy on in 20 seconds, kids dry, you on time. The car stays in the garage — or goes for good.

85 Nm of torque at the cranks: Sainte-Marguerite, Thier-à-Liège or the Mont des Arts go by mid-conversation. Tested fully loaded, in February.

2.6 m long with a rock-steady double kickstand: it parks right outside the bakery. Frame lock + GPS so it can sleep outside.

“We sold the second car in October. Nobody noticed a thing — except the bank account.”
Camille
2 kids · Liège — proto v2, 3,100 km

“The hill to my job is 9%. I used to drive up it — now I ride up while on the phone. Hands-free kit, obviously.”
Mehdi
Daily bike commuter · Herstal — proto v2, 4,800 km

“What I wanted: kids facing the road, real brakes, and a bike that doesn't look like a fridge. Three for three.”
Sofie

Questions
Yes — free test rides at the Liège workshop (with the kids, a loaded box and the hill next door) and one Saturday a month in Brussels. RIGEL books you a slot; the team confirms within 24 hours.
The €300 deposit is refunded in full, no questions asked, right up until you confirm your final order at configuration (November 2026).
Yes, in many municipalities and depending on the region — often 20 to 40% of the price, capped. The amounts change regularly: check with your municipality; RIGEL can point you in the right direction.
Built-in frame lock, alarm and GPS in the app. The K1 qualifies for standard bike insurance; the tracker helps with recoveries and lowers some premiums.
Carbon belt (no chain to grease), sealed hub, hydraulic brakes: one service a year covers daily use. First 500 km check-up free at the workshop.
Because we assemble them ourselves in Liège, and we'd rather deliver 120 perfect bikes in spring than 400 late ones. Batch #2 opens after the first deliveries, at the regular price.
Configure yours
Describe your rides — kids, hills, kilometres — and RIGEL suggests your exact config: the options worth having (and the ones to skip), an all-in estimate, and a test-ride slot if you want to feel it first.
Instant answers, 24/7 — the pre-order stays €300, config or not.
